1. Google Ad Manager Integration*

MediaFerry is now integrated with Google Ad Manager(GAM).

  1. Uploading creatives and trafficking ads to GAM is now automated with this new feature.

  2. MediaFerry can now send creatives directly to specific digital products.

  3. The formats supported are JPG, PNG, GIF and 3rd party tags.

1. Customisation for a client rebranding*

One of the clients underwent a rebranding exercise so MediaFerry UI has been updated and customised based on new client’s brand guidelines.

  1. Old client logo replaced with a new one in MediaFerry.

  2. All the UTM# codes changed as per the predefined product classifications provided by the client which can be used in the Call To Action for their digital banners

# A UTM code is a basic snippet of code added to the end of the client’s URL to assist with tracking the performance of content and social media campaigns.

2. Workflow update - Pick-up process*

Pick-up workflow process has been updated for one of the clients.

  1. Workflow updated to process pick-up files from the previous job number, instead of the previous booking number.

  2. This change will ensure the correct version is lifted for correct version update instead of version being copied on all available

  3. This will also make sure if the previous job which is needed to be lifted has not been completed, then the pickup workflow will not initiate.

  4. It will now move the Pick-up with change to “proof” status rather than keeping it in “live” status.

3. Metadata update/addition*

Following fields/metadata added to MediaFerry for client/s-

  1. “Invoice URN” added to match invoice ad number.

  2. “Ad number” replaced with “material Id”.

  3. “AdPoint Section” added, this will help identify which copy has been uploaded in which section.

  4. “SmartAd Units” added at ad unit level for a specific client, this will help the mapping of Ads to SmartAd server.

4.Pick-up a job from the archive*

MediaFerry can now pick-up a job from the archive as per request from the client. Primarily the jobs couldn't be picked up once archived. With this new update, If any job has a pick up number and the pickup is in the Archive, it will be processed.

5. GAM Automation update*

GAM automated trafficking is updated with the following updates:

  1. For Birth, Matrimonial, Death (BMD) campaigns MediaFerry will parse customised targeting parameters which include DMA (designated marketing area) data to exclude these campaigns from appearing against certain articles

  2. Creative-level targeting is now applied for the different classifications

  3. Updates made in the Rate to exclude VAT into consideration when parsing in GAM

  4. Custom Metadata added during the Order level as per the impressions

  5. If social handles will be available in the XML they will be added in MediaFerry

Miscellaneous Bug Fixes*

Some MediaFerry users reported bugs in the system these were limited to a few users only and not all MediaFerry users experienced issues. Here is a list of bugs that we've fixed in the MediaFerry system:

  1. The job cycle report was reporting incorrect data for the project classification section. This has now been fixed.*
