At MediaFerry (and MediaFerryBot), we value the privacy of our users and are committed to protecting their personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle the information we gather from users of our Google Chrome Extension. The privacy policy applies to all the users who will install and user MediaFerryBot Google Chrome plugin/extension.
Data Collection and Use
Our Google Chrome Extension is designed to facilitate MediaFerryBot conversations and provide debug and support services. As part of this process, we collect and store information related to user interactions with our extension, including the MediaFerryBot conversations, for debugging and support purposes. This information is stored in a log file and associated with the user's Google login.
We also collect user input and pass it on to the MediaFerryBot. If the MediaFerryBot requires access to the user's Google account, we may pass on the user's Google access token to the webhook. The webhook then uses the access token to find the user's email address and requests MediaFerry to act on behalf of that email.
We may use the information we collect to improve our extension's functionality and provide better support to our users. However, we will not use the information for any other purposes without obtaining the user's explicit consent.
