Data Collection and Use
Our Google Chrome Extension is designed to facilitate MediaFerryBot conversations and provide debug and support services. As part of this process, we collect and store information related to user interactions with our extension, including the MediaFerryBot conversations, for debugging and support purposes. This information is stored in a log file and associated with the user's Google login.
We also collect user input and pass it on to the MediaFerryBot. If the MediaFerryBot requires access to the user's Google account, we may pass on the user's Google access token to the webhook. The webhook then uses the access token to find the user's email address and requests MediaFerry to act on behalf of that email.
We may use the information we collect to improve our extension's functionality and provide better support to our users. However, we will not use the information for any other purposes without obtaining the user's explicit consent.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share or disclose any of the information we collect with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:
- With the user's explicit consent.
- When required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process.
- When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the absolute security of the information.
